Trout Fishing
Our trout fishing is a combination of mountain streams and private lakes including the secluded Little Blue Lake and our famous Latir Lakes.
The Latir Lakes are 9 private high-elevation sub-alpine lakes stocked with Rainbow, Cutbow and native Rio Grande Cut-throat Trout. It takes a four-wheel drive vehicle to get to these beautiful lakes but the scenery, experience and fishing are worth the experience. Improvements to this area now includes road improvements and a well-marked hiking trail as an addition to the existing Falls Trail. This is a more gentle trail provides improved access between lake #3 and #4.
Recreation
  • Horseback Riding Trails for your own horses on old logging trails
  • Mountain Bike Trails
  • Hiking Trails from gentle to EXTREME

Group Facilities

Canopy Shelter
Our group camp site is set up along the Latir Creek with a foot bridge to access the 50-plus person canopy. There is plenty of parking, fire pits and picnic tables available. Call the office to make reservations and arrangements.
This is a perfect setting for special events like reunions, meetings and weddings.
Family-size Canopy Shelters
During the 2006 season we have begun opening up smaller family-sized canopies with picnic tables and we will soon be adding BBQ grills and/or campfire fire-rings to these sites.
