to blend our business needs with our preservation efforts and the needs of the farming community. This
provides a positive outcome to a lot of interested parties. In the process, we make our ranch look much nicer and

Resources
Water is our most precious resource
Our reservoir stores water for the entire Costilla Valley.
Agriculture is the core of our history and the core of our business. It ranges from forestry to cattle grazing and from watersheds and erosion control to drought-tolerant plant species research for soil stabilization on sagebrush conversion projects. Re-establishing high-altitude prairies to palatable shrubs and grasses keeps wildlife from overgrazing riparian and other sensitive wetland areas.
The science of agri-business management is well entrenched in our acequia system and our crop management techniques.
By managing our forests we can deliver a much higher quality of water from the watershed of the RCCLA ranch.
